inext and Sarkor: new partner from Central Asia

inext continues to expand its presence in the Central Asian market.

As you know, inext does not rest on its laurels and keeps gaining momentum in expanding its activities on the world market. Today we would like to introduce you to a new promising project — cooperation with Sarkor Telecom, a leading provider from Uzbekistan.

Sarkor Telecom was founded in 1996. Its main field of activity is the provision of Internet services for home and corporate users, including FTTB, FTTH and ADSL, as well as video surveillance, hosting services, IPTV and VoIP.

To widen the use of its services and bring its television offering to the highest level, the company needed set-top boxes with modern functionality and interface design that would be easy to manage.

"In the spring and summer of 2023, we went on a business trip to find customers and expand our circle of partners in Uzbekistan," says Pavlo Sidorov, CCO of inext. "Our primary goal was to find like-minded people willing to provide their subscribers with high-quality, functional and, at the same time, affordable TV set-top boxes."

Sarkor became such a partner.

Naturally, Sarkor was interested in extending its capabilities with inext boxes thanks to the customized software, the inext Alcatraz cloud management system, as well as full branding of the device.

"One of the most important aspects for us was the possibility of using a fully customized home screen with two of our own pre-installed applications, including our IP television service, SarkorTV," says Pavlo Naumov, CTO of Sarkor. "By opting for inext, we received a completely ready-made, pre-configured and localized device that fully meets our requirements."

It is also worth noting that with inext devices the operator receives technical support at the highest level and the ability to update set-top boxes via OTA, which ensures their stable operation for many years. And the external customization of the remote control and the box itself will definitely increase brand recognition.

"We expect a long-term partnership that meets the needs of Sarkor subscribers and completely removes the issue of developing TV set-top boxes from the operator, freeing up their time and resources to develop their own services and network," says Pavlo Sidorov, CCO of inext.

This is not inext's first project in Uzbekistan — we plan to keep developing our product and comprehensively cover the requests of our partners. And we know that this is why they choose inext!
