Firmware update is already available
The inext team keeps working to maintain a high level of operations and serve customers with the best possible product. This time, a firmware update has been prepared for the current lineup of inext set-top boxes.
Major upgrades in this version:
- Compatibility with the inext AIR remote control;
- Compatibility with the remote control application for smartphones that is about to be released (more on this soon);
- VPN services support;
- Improved operation of the inext Alcatraz Device Management System;
- Fixed OTA update system issues.
Models
From now on, the firmware update is available for the following list of media players: inext TV3, inext 4K2, inext TV4, inext 4K Ultra, inext TV5, inext TV5 Ultra.
As with all firmware for inext devices, the most recent one is available only as an online OTA update. You can check for it on your device via Settings -> About -> System update. If you have any problems updating your device, please contact our service center.
