Please, get acquainted to inext brand launcher!
Today we would like to introduce you to the first material of the section “Solutions”.
The first thing that usually comes to mind when hearing of inext is our set-top boxes. At the moment, the set-top boxes of our production are present in more than ten markets of Europe and Asia, which we are, most certainly, not going to stop at. However, in addition to the “inexts” themselves, our RnD team can offer many convenient solutions for telecom operators, which will make their lives easier, and the integration of devices into their services – more sophisticated.
One of these solutions is, of course, our signature launcher.
In our opinion, the first impression formed by the user when he starts our device is very important, and the first thing he will see on his screen is our launcher. It is a business card, the clothes by which our set-top box is greeted. Therefore, our team worked diligently to ensure that this first impression leaves an exceptionally pleasant aftertaste.
Launcher customization
The ability to customize our launcher is a nice bonus that we offer to all our partners. We will dwell on the additional options that can be configured in a little more detail.
First, there are two options for displaying applications:
- with channels (the picture above);
- only applications.
Sorting applications
Favorite applications are sorted as desired. They (or some of them at the beginning) can be pinned, so that they cannot be removed from the screen or rearranged.
It’s the same with channels – they can be sorted and pinned according to the client’s needs. The selected channels cannot be removed or moved to another location.
Second, apps can be added to favorites and sorted. Similarly with channels.
Modes
In “apps only” mode, you can:
- select the number of columns;
- hide selected or all buttons from below;
- hide apps if you don’t need them on the screen.
In the “Channels” mode, it is possible to:
- Disable/enable animations;
- Disable/enable line dimming;
- Disable/enable translucency of lines.
Also, it is possible to choose the radius of rounding the corners of application images and the ability to display the name of the application that is currently in focus.
As for the background, it can be:
- Dynamic gradient (based on the colors of the selected app/movie). A dynamic gradient can also be animated (color transitions)
- Image (if the image is preset, the user cannot change it)
- None (just black background)
By default, all backgrounds are dark, but this option can be turned off in the settings.
Notifications
Notifications from selected applications can also be displayed in the following format:
Logo
The logo in the upper left corner can be replaced by any other or completely removed.
Customization of the launcher will allow our partners to easily make it fully meet all their requirements, which in turn will allow them to focus on improving their own technologies.
